Library Closed Until Further Notice

The well-being of our North Tonawanda Library community is our top priority.  We are closely monitoring information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking measures to keep everyone safe.  At this time, we are adjusting our services:

  • Due to the Governor’s recommendation, the library will now be closing for the foreseeable future. If you have items checked out, please DO NOT return them to the dropbox until further notice. All items are currently not due until April 13th, and will be returned fine-free after we reopen. So, stay safe, enjoy your items (reread your new favorite), and stay home. This is a difficult period in our existence as a library. Benjamin Franklin created the public library idea in 1781, and we have been in operation in the North Tonawanda community since our charter in 1893. While we remain vigilant and continue to assess the situation day by day, we ask that our North Tonawanda Library Family stay safe, practice social distancing, and follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).We encourage the public to visit the Library homepage for updates at
Remember our Library is always open through our digital collection
Thank you for your patience as we work through this together! Please continue to think of us, as we think of you!
