Local Newspapers
As part of our local history collection, the Library maintains a historic newspaper collection for the North Tonawanda area. Except for the most recent issues, access to these newspapers is available on microfilm. Copies are $.15 per page. The Library owns:
- North Tonawanda Daily News: April 1, 1880 to Sept. 30, 1885
- Tonawanda (Evening) News: July 26, 1883 – current.

- We DO NOT have the Buffalo News on Microfilm. We retain print copies for three months.
