Saturday, August 5th
The NTLibraryCon is a FREE, family-friendly convention for all things nerdy!
Want to come to NTLibraryCon? Preregister here!
You can always sign up the day of the convention, but preregistering has some benefits:
- It tells us how many prizes, crafts, chairs, and activities to have ready for you!
- We print your name/nickname on your badge, which is pretty sweet.
- It saves you time when you come in.
Want to sign up for the Cosplay Contest? Preregister here!
You can always sign up the day of, too. This year’s contest judges are the awesome people from Pulp 716.
When is it?: Saturday, August 5th, 2017 from 10am to 4pm.
Who is this for?: Everyone, ages 0-104!
Everything will be rated PG-13, so parental guidance is recommended.
What is it?: A day to celebrate the shows, books, characters, and movies that you’re a fan of.
You can find more information and connect with other attendees on our Facebook page. Our schedule is below:
How much will it cost?: It’s totally free, offered as part of our library Summer Reading Club programming!
The Friends of the North Tonawanda Public Library graciously provide funding for our programming. Pulp 716 and Casual Dragon Games also offer support.
I want to help & be an awesome volunteer for the day!:
Yay! We need tons of volunteers the day of, and would love to have you bring your games to demonstrate, register attendees, or anything else. Please contact Ms. Menzel at kmenzel AT nioga.org. Please note that you have to be at least 13 to volunteer unless a parent will be with you the whole time. All student volunteers receive community service hours. Adult volunteers are welcome as well.
If you signed up for a slot at our volunteer meeting and cannot make it as scheduled, please let us know!
Do you have an Artist’s Alley? Can I sell my stuff?: Sorry, no selling things at the library, but we have an Item Swap!
You can bring in your homemade fan items, books, or fandom merch to swap for more different homemade fan items, books, or fandom merch during our fan item swap. The swap will be held at the Maid Cafe this year, so you’ll be able to have some noms while you trade. We were given a preview of some of the items that will be there this year, and they are adorable.
How do I learn more?: Check out our Facebook group.
We will keep you updated with the latest news, events, and more.
A huge thank you to our supporters and volunteers. Without you, none of this would be possible!
