NTLibraryCon 2017 is in the works!
Save the date: TBD
The NTLibraryCon is a FREE, family-friendly convention
for all things nerdy!
Want to come to NTLibraryCon?
You can always sign up the day of the convention, but preregistering has some benefits:
- It tells us how many prizes, crafts, chairs, and activities to have ready for you!
- You get entered into a super-special preregistration raffle!
- We print your name/nickname on your badge, which is pretty sweet.
- It saves you time when you come in.
When is it?: Saturday, July 9th, 2016 from 10am to 4pm.
Who is this for?: Everyone, ages 0-104!
Everything will be rated PG-13, so parental guidance is recommended.
What is it?: A day to celebrate the shows, books, characters, and movies that you’re a fan of.
You can find more information and connect with other attendees on our Facebook page. An event list is below.
Check out some of our special guests:
How much will it cost?: It’s totally free, offered as part of our library Summer Reading Club programming!
The Friends of the North Tonawanda Public Library graciously provide funding for our programming.
I want to help, run a panel, or be an awesome volunteer for the day!:
Yay! We need tons of volunteers the day of, and would love to have you run a panel, bring your games to demonstrate, or anything else. Please contact Ms. Menzel at ntlibcon AT gmail.com. Please note that you have to be at least 13 to volunteer unless a parent will be with you the whole time. All student volunteers receive community service hours. Adult volunteers are welcome as well.
If you signed up for a slot at our volunteer meeting and cannot make it as scheduled, please let us know!
Do you have an Artist’s Alley? Can I sell my stuff?: Sorry, no selling things at the library, but we have an Item Swap!
You can bring in your homemade fan items to swap for more different homemade fan items. Bring them in to the Information Desk anytime July 5-9 and we’ll display them in our teen section until the Item Swap. There are two different swap sessions on July 9th, 9:30-10am and 2-2:45.
How do I learn more?: Check out our Facebook group.
We will keep you updated with the latest news, events, and more. Here’s this year’s schedule! Find larger images here.
