If
you’re entering grades 6-11 and you are looking for something
to do this summer, you may volunteer as part of the Junior Friends
program at the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive.
As
a Junior Friend, you can volunteer to:
- read to younger children
as a Book Buddy
- sign-up for a weekly shift in the Children’s
Department to assist with the Summer Reading Club game
- help children
on the computers, or assist at programs.
The Junior Friend meeting is Thursday, June 5th at 3:45. Call 693-4132, ext. 5 to register.
